"Disappointing for the Price I had high expectations when I opted for the Briggs & Riley case, especially given its premium price tag of £499. As someone who travels frequently for work, I was drawn to the sleek design and, in particular, the front pocket, which seemed perfect for easy access to essentials I want frequently eg iPad. While the overall quality of the case is good, I can't help but feel underwhelmed, especially when considering the hefty cost. The hard shell construction and general durability are on par with what I expected, but the front pocket is where the case really falls short. It feels cheap, poorly constructed having just a top locking mechanism and nothing on the sides, and doesn’t feel secure as there is a gap when items place in. For the price, I was expecting a more robust, well-built pocket—something that would hold up over time with frequent use. Unfortunately, I feel that’s not the case here. For nearly £500, I expected a level of quality that was consistent throughout, and this front pocket just doesn’t deliver. Overall, while the case is functional, it’s hard to ignore the disappointing design flaw, especially when it’s a feature that seemed like a key selling point. Given it 2 stars based on this aspect"

Amazing everything but it is small …. .

"I got this 56cm Carry-On Spinner TORQ to compliment my midsize TORQ truck. It is a nice looking carry on and hard side makes a nice different as items stay well secured. But as with hard side luggage - packing more in it is not possible. The compression carry on such as baseline which I have one also can carry a lot more. The front compartment is a little more flexible than I imagined and so looks like it might break off/out if you try to carry a laptop and a a reasonable amount of cables or accessories in it. On my first use I didn’t notice until I got back from my trip and thought ok next time I can’t pack that much in it as it was looking a bit fragile. The gliding is fantastic and you can easily glide both this and the med truck in one hand back to back keeping you other hand free … including placing a backpack and personal items over the handle."

Expensive yes but the build

"Expensive yes but the build quality is excellent . The design is also spot on. This case glides, it is well balanced and spins so easily. I have also bought a briefcase and when fully loaded there is no topping or jarring. I was amazed at how light it is versus now much it holds. It looks good and it is robust It’s making business and leisure journeys so much easier and keeping my aches and mains frongragging and lifting luggage down!"

A great spinner. The wheels

"A great spinner. The wheels are the smoothest I've ever had on both this and the medium sized case. It sadly scuffed on first use which surprised me as it gently hit a smooth tiled wall, so I bought the cover protector. For the next iteration please add an internal pocket along the spine for small items. The suit/jacket retainer/pocket and the front opening computer pocket are excellent. A worthwhile purchase."

Business Traveller Review

"Pros - looks great, zips, wheels and handle are well made and feel high quality. Nice features and premium materials inside. Improvements - The front pocket would benefit a second locking point, it feels flimsy with only the single catch at the top. Feels like it could be forced open from the side. So some additional security in this respect would add some comfort but otherwise very nice case. Personal opinion, I think the stitching through the plastic around the edges looks a bit low-end."

Handle issues

"Just used the carry-on for a trip and while it looks good and held up well, the handle is poor quality and I had to constantly hold in place to prevent it slipping back down when extended. Very disappointing"
