"Extremely dissapointed with this wheel noise. I’m a pilot who used luggage works for ten years. I like the bag itself but one wheel is already squeeling. I used lubricant and cleaned the wheel and still very loud. Ridiculous for the price point to have this happen already"

"But jeez, this thing is exceptionally well designed. The compartments are really well thought out, everything is right where it should be, it’s surprisingly light for an actual suitcase, the cramming-accommodation feature is very clever and remarkably effective. I’m this evening just back from my first trip with it (2 weeks) and I am unreasonably happy with this suitcase. Also, it looks pretty cool, but that would be a stupid reason to buy a suitcase. So buy it because it suitcases extremely well and just enjoy the fact that it’s really elegant."

Heavy - Worth the $?

"I’ve used my bag once so far, so I feel I may need to update or write a new review after the test of time. I haven’t used a roll aboard in a long time but I bought this specifically for its capacity which is greater than a spinner can provide. With my personal item on top, it was extremely heavy lugging through the airport and I had to switch arms repeatedly. The compression system is pretty cool, but not sure if the exorbitant price tag is worth it. I’m going to try using the included strap to hang my personal item from the bag instead of putting it on top to ease the weight issue. It’s not particularly stylish but I knew that going in. 🤓 We’ll see over time if I regret the splurge or grow to love it. I’m looking forward to seeing how durable it is and use the lifetime guarantee if needed."

Pockets are a disappointment

"I have had a B+R Transcend bag for ~16 years and love it. I ordered the Baseline as a replacement as mine is getting pretty dilapidated. What I'm disappointed in is the pockets--for some reason, they are sown into the lining with the zipper only at the top (instead of full mesh with zipper around three sides like my old one). I can fit virtually nothing in these (a hairbrush doesn't even fit!) Yes, I will adjust and will just have to put everything into the body of the suitcase instead of zipping it easily into the lid as I always have, but this really cuts into the space available for packing my clothes and means I will never be able to use my suitcase without fully expanding it. Otherwise, the bag is nice, but I'm going to get my old one fixed and keep using it as long as I can--that's how much I dislike the new one. Bummer."
